In order to resume the exchanges of people between China and other countries in an orderly manner, starting from March 15, 2021, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China will provide the following conveniences to Chinese-visa applicants who have been vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine produced in China and hold vaccination certificates.

1. Personnel who come to China to engage in activities necessary to resuming work and resuming production in various fields as well as their family members can prepare materials and submit applications according to the requirements before the epidemic.

2. The scope of visa issuance for personnel who come to China for emergency humanitarian needs will be appropriately expanded. Personnel who meet the following requirements can submit applications: 1). Foreign family members of Chinese citizens or permanent residents, including spouse, parents, children and other close relatives like brothers, sisters, grandparents or grandchildren.  2). The purpose of visiting China should be family reunion, supporting, family visiting, funeral or visiting critically ill relatives.

3. Personnel who hold valid APEC Business Travel Card can apply for M type visa (for business purpose) with his/her APEC Business Travel Card as well as Invitation Letter provided by Chinese domestic inviting organization.

    Please take kind note that the Chinese side requires 2 negative certification (COVID-19 nucleic acid testing and IGM antibody testing) for personnel who take flight to China. It is kindly requested to follow the regulations of medical quarantine and observation after entry.
