On May 30, 2023, China's Shenzhou 16 crewed spacecraft was successfullylaunched. Three Chinese astronauts(Taikonauts), Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao, have started their space life at the Tiangong Space Station for half a year, and will present 10 awarded works of “My Dream” Painting Competition for African Youth in the Tiangong Space Station.

The Chinese side will hold the “African Dream Goes to Space, TALKS WITH TAIKONAUTS” event and “My Dream” Painting Competition Award Ceremony around September this year, to showcase Paintings from African teenagers' to be exhibited in the Tiangong Space Station, and one representative of Chinese astronauts who ended the "business trip" in space will attend the event in Beijing and communicate with African youths via video connection.

Following the "TALKS WITH TAIKONAUTS" in 2022, we sincerely invite Eritrean young friends to ask questions to the Chinese astronauts, and the Chinese Embassy in Eritrea will convey your questions to the Chinese Taikonauts.

 Chinese Taikonauts will communicate with African youth online at the award ceremony around September, and we look forward to your participation!
